On January 3, 2000, I posted my first comic on the web! These are the strips that were posted that week. Originally, they were in black and white.

In 1999, I had submitted six weeks of strips to all the newspaper syndicates and in researching how to do so, I discovered a bunch of comics that I had never heard of. It turned out there were hundreds of people just like me who had always wanted to be newspaper cartoonists and they were just skipping over the newspaper part and posting their work directly on the web! 

So, when I got the rejection letters back from the syndicates, I decided to create my own web page and post those same strips there.
