The first Sunday strip! It was posted January 9, 2000. It had been part of the submission packet I had sent to the newspaper syndicates in 1999. I was a huge fan of the way Bill Watterson of Calvin & Hobbes played with the space in his Sunday strips, so I got creative with varying the panel sizes, along with overlapping elements and negative space.
